An elegant drapery on the decolletage; an especially lovely faceted 'French' Jet necklet dating to the 1890's or so. The facetted festoon of shiny black glass cabochons are set upon a chain linked metal base to create this vision of gorgeousness.... at the time oft worn as a jewel in the latter stages of mourning as it was considered a more restrained decor. 

Measures at 16 inches but this could be lengthened a little if desired with chain.
